Heading of the official
include the name of the govt department, letter number, place and date which is
printed on the top of the page, an example is given below:

Letter number:
In most official
letters a letter number is given for further correspondence.
Date and Place:
The date and place is
included in the heading of the letter.
Designation and address of the receiver:
The designation and
address of the receiver is given just below the heading, an example is given
below

Subject of the letter:
The subject of the
letter indicate the purpose of the message it also called a short summary
Body of the letter:
The body of the letter
contains the actual message or the core idea which the sender intend to convey
to the receiver.
